1. What this site is
Beacon Hub is an informational website about consumer security software. It publishes general explanation and commentary. It is not professional advice of any kind — not security advice, not legal advice, not financial advice — and it is not tailored to any reader's circumstances. Decisions about what to buy, install or do with your own devices remain yours.
Nothing is sold on this site. There is no shopping facility, no account, no form and no means of transacting with us.
2. Accuracy and change
Pages are written with care and reviewed on the date shown in the footer, but the subject moves. Product features, platform behaviour, terms and prices change, sometimes between one week and the next. Always check the vendor's own current information before relying on anything written here about a product, and check the primary source before relying on anything written here about the law.
If you find an error, write to info@beaconhub.online. We correct or remove what is wrong.
3. Links to other websites
This site links to external websites, including Australian government bodies and one software vendor with which the publisher has a commercial arrangement, as set out in the affiliate disclosure. Those sites are outside our control. We are not responsible for their content, their products, their terms or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement or a warranty of anything found there.
Any transaction you enter into with another organisation is between you and that organisation. Beacon Hub is not a party to it, cannot act on your account, and has no ability to alter, cancel or refund anything.

Product names and brands mentioned on this site are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. They are the property of their respective owners, and their use here does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those owners.
The text and design of this site belong to the publisher. You may quote reasonable extracts with attribution and a link. Republishing pages wholesale is not permitted.

Certain rights and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any such right or guarantee, and if any part of these terms would do so, that part does not apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, the publisher does not accept liability for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, or from the content or conduct of any third-party website. Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, it is limited to resupplying the information or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where the publisher is established, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction. This does not deprive a consumer resident in Australia of the protection of mandatory Australian consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, nor of the ability to bring proceedings in their local courts where the law gives them that right. A reader resident in the European Union keeps the equivalent protections of their own country's mandatory consumer law.
8. Changes to these terms
Revised terms are published at this address with a new effective date. The version in force is the one published when you use the site.
