This policy describes what Beacon Hub does with personal information. It is short because the site does very little: it has no forms, no accounts, no newsletter, no analytics and no cookies. What follows is written under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, with a separate section for readers covered by the GDPR.
1. Who is responsible

BRAWLLAND s.r.o. publishes the website at beaconhub.online and is the organisation to contact about anything in this policy.
2. What is collected
Three categories, and no others.
- Nothing through the website itself
- There is no contact form, no search box, no newsletter sign-up, no account, no quiz, no comment facility and no chat widget anywhere on this site. There is nothing you can type into Beacon Hub, so there is nothing for it to receive. The site sets no cookies of its own and permits no third party to set any; it uses no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no fingerprinting. The cookie policy covers this in more detail.
- Ordinary server logs, kept by the hosting provider
- The web server records a log entry for each request: the network (IP) address it came from, the browser's user agent string, the page requested, the date and time, the response code, and the referring page if the browser sends one. These logs are generated and held by the hosting provider that operates the server. Beacon Hub does not combine them with anything else and does not use them to profile any reader.
- Whatever you choose to put in an email
- If you write to info@beaconhub.online, we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you decide to include. We ask that you do not send sensitive personal information, identity documents or credentials; there is no reason for us to hold any of it.
No special categories of personal information are sought, and no information is bought from, or supplied by, any third party.
3. Why, and on what basis

Personal information is not used for marketing. Beacon Hub sends no marketing email, because it holds no list to send one to.
4. How long it is kept
- Server logs: 30 days, after which they are deleted or overwritten in the hosting provider's ordinary rotation. Where an entry forms part of investigating a specific security incident, it may be kept until that investigation is closed and for no more than 12 months.
- Email correspondence: 24 months from the last message in the exchange, then deleted. Correspondence that records a correction made to the site may be kept for as long as that correction is relevant, so that we can explain why a page says what it says.
5. Who else receives it
Beacon Hub does not sell personal information, does not share it for anyone else's marketing, and does not disclose it except as set out here.
Two parties are unavoidably involved in the operation of the site and are therefore named here in their roles:
- The hosting provider that operates the web server. It holds the server logs described above as part of providing hosting.
- The email provider that operates the mailbox for info@beaconhub.online. It holds any email you send, in the same way that any email provider holds mail.
There is nobody else. This site loads no analytics service, no advertising network, no conversion pixel, no A/B testing tool, no chat service, no social media embed, no font from a third party and no script or stylesheet from any content delivery network. Every file that makes up this site is served from beaconhub.online itself.
Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal demand.
Cross-border disclosure (Australian Privacy Principle 8)
Readers in Australia should know that the publisher is established in the Czech Republic and that the hosting and email providers used to operate this site are located outside Australia, in the European Union. Using this site therefore involves the disclosure of the information described above — principally your IP address in a server log — to recipients outside Australia. Those recipients are bound by European data protection law, which sets standards broadly comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles, but they are not themselves subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. Because the site collects nothing, there is no database of reader information to protect, and no payment details, password or account record exist anywhere in this operation.
Access to the hosting account and the mailbox is limited to the publisher, protected by multi-factor authentication. Email correspondence is stored in the mailbox and deleted in line with the period above.
7. Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles
If you are in Australia, you may:
- Ask for access to the personal information held about you. In practice this can only be email correspondence, since server logs are not indexed by person and are deleted on the schedule above.
- Ask for correction of anything inaccurate.
- Ask for deletion of correspondence you have sent.
- Complain if you think your privacy has been mishandled.
Write to info@beaconhub.online and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the national privacy regulator, at oaic.gov.au. The OAIC generally expects you to raise the matter with the organisation first, which is why the order above is stated that way.
8. Notifiable data breaches
If a data breach occurred that was likely to result in serious harm to anyone whose information we hold, we would notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires. The only personal information in this operation is email correspondence and short-lived server logs, so the realistic scope of such a breach is limited to those.
9. Children
Beacon Hub is written for adults making a purchasing decision and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 — in practice we collect none from anyone, since the site has no means of collection. If a child has written to the email address above, tell us and the correspondence will be deleted.
10. GDPR and UK GDPR
BRAWLLAND s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing. Readers in the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR.
The lawful basis relied on for server logs is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): operating and securing the website. The interest is the ordinary one of keeping a site available and defending it against abuse; the processing is limited to short-lived technical records and is not used to profile anyone, so it does not override the rights of readers. For email, the basis is that you sent the message and the processing is what is needed to answer it. Consent is not relied on anywhere, because the site sets no cookies and runs no tracking that would require it.
Where the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where it is technically applicable, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Requests go to info@beaconhub.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), and elsewhere the authority for your country of residence.
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place on this site.
11. Changes to this policy
A revised policy is published at this address with a new effective date at the top, superseding the previous version from that date. A change that materially affects readers — the introduction of any cookie or third-party service — would be accompanied by a matching change to the cookie policy, with a working consent mechanism in place before anything was set.
